About
Sandra is a Registered Psychologist with a sharp cultural lens and over 20 years of experience in psychological therapy and assessment. She works with adults experiencing (complex) trauma, anxiety, stress and burnout, binge eating, parenting and relationship challenges, ADHD, Autism, women’s mental health issues, and grief and loss.
Sandra enjoys working with clients who want to address their traumatic past, anxiety and stress and explore recurring patterns in their life and relationship dynamics. She supports clients to identify their areas of growth and to focus on the underlying core issues contributing to their current challenges. She loves working collaboratively with her clients on finding clarity and tools that work for them and to do the depth-oriented therapy work they desire.
Passionate about self-empowerment, personal growth and trauma recovery, Sandra is skilled in supporting clients through burnout, identity and (business) life transitions, including migrants and high-performing professionals.
Sandra is dedicated to being genuine, compassionate and understanding, and together with her calm and joyful nature, it is her aim to create a welcoming space for deep reflection and emotional processing. Her professionalism and attention to detail, allows her to be focused, safe and skilled in meeting you where you are, while providing guidance and holding space.
Sandra is an advanced trauma therapist, with a particular interest in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and mindfulness-based therapies. She is skilled in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and schema therapy frameworks. As Clinical Lead and trauma therapist of a specialised therapy department, she led the multidisciplinary team in assessing and treating adults with complex mental health issues and family dynamics.
While continuing her training, she noticed we tend to overdevelop our minds and analytical skills, while losing touch with the benefits of our emotions, particularly when they feel overwhelming. Sandra is committed to creating a deep reflective space to feel more at ease, to navigate life with a sense of clarity and choice, and to feel more empowered along the way.
