A senior practitioner will then contact you for a confidential, 15-minute intake phone call to ensure you are matched with the right practitioner for you.
The intake form for children should be completed by the parent or legal guardian.

Once you’ve completed your intake form, you’ll receive a call from one of Wise Psychology’s senior practitioners to schedule your first appointment and complete your registration.
Once this is all done, you’ll receive a confirmation of the first booking. Two days before the appointment, you’ll receive a reminder SMS and three days before the appointment an email. These will contain the necessary information for attending your appointment, including a link to the online waiting room and other helpful information.
To attend your appointment, click the ‘Enter Waiting Room’ button on the Home page of this website, or you can click here. Your practitioner will then start the video call when the appointment time comes.

Cost
Our standard 50-minute online psychological counselling session rate is $235. You may be eligible for a partial rebate for session fees as part of a Mental Health Care Plan under Medicare.
Reports, letters, and pro forma documents are completed at an hourly rate of $300+GST (or part thereof) and are not eligible for Medicare claims.
Consulting and other non-clinical services are costed on a case-by-case basis.
In certain exceptional circumstances, your practitioner may reduce the cost of your session to assist with affordability. If you are experiencing difficult financial circumstances, please let us know when you make your first appointment.
Locations
Wise Psychology currently provides all services online via Telehealth. Online appointments are effective, convenient, and easy on the environment. To enhance your experience of each appointment, please ensure you have sufficient privacy and a solid internet connection. We also recommend using headphones or earphones.
Attendance Policy
When you make an appointment, you reserve that time exclusively for yourself. Should you cancel an appointment at late notice, it is practicable to fill that time slot. As such, if you cancel or reschedule fewer than 48 business hours before the appointment, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total appointment cost will apply. If you cancel or reschedule fewer than 24 business hours before the appointment or do not attend the session, you will be required to pay the total appointment cost. You can not claim Medicare reimbursement for cancelled, rescheduled or missed appointments. For further information, please refer to the service Terms of Use.
If you arrive 20 minutes or more after the scheduled start time for your appointment, your practitioner will mark it as "not attended" and assign the status "cancelled", and the total cost will apply.
