About
Amelia is a registered clinical psychologist who provides psychological therapy and assessment to children, youth, and adults.
She uses a warm and collaborative approach and has experience treating individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, and general psychological distress.
Using a collaborative and client-centred approach, Amelia uses evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-focused CBT, and Attachment-focused therapy.
Amelia completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of Tasmania in Hobart. Amelia has worked in private inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community health, and educational settings.
Amelia is passionate about developing a strong connection with her clients to help improve their well-being, facilitate meaningful change, and help clients achieve their goals.
